I was born 15 May 1947 in Stockheim, West Germany to an American G.I. and a German girl. We lived in Germany for almost a year after I was born, then coming to America. I lived at various Army bases in Maryland, Virginia and Kentucky. During the Korean conflict I lived in Texarkana until the war was over. Then we where stationed in Formosa for four years. Coming back to America in 1957, we where stationed at Ft. Sill, Okla. We went back to Germany for a two year assignment in 1961. In May 1965 i joined the Navy for four years, got out in 1969 and joined the Navy Reserve for four more years. Then I switched over to the Oklahoma Army National Guard and stayed until 1984. I went back in the Arkansas Army National Guard in 1997 and retired in 2007. In May 1980 I met my present wife, Nancy who is a native Arkansan from Midland, Arkansas. We have been married for twenty nine years. I have two sons from a previous marriage and two step sons and a step daughter in my present marriage. I am a retired Federal Firefighter with twenty four years and retired in 1997 and also retired from the Army National Guard with over twenty years. I have eleven grand children.
