The Merritt Wentz Educational Fund is funded and controlled by the Arkansas State Elks Association. It was created and designed to help college students who have completed two years of school, and are having monetary problems in furthering their educational goals.
To help qualifying students through their junior and senior years, the Wentz Fund will give monetary assistance, for up to two years to help these students complete their education. These funds are also available to students attending vo-tech schools, as long as they are part of the State's Board of Education.
The Wentz Educational Scholorship committee of the Arkansas State Elks Association is pleased to announce the 2007 scholarship winners. Each winner will be awarded a $2,000.00 scholarship for the 2007-08 academic year.
